How do you get to St. John / Hawksnest Villa?
The closest airport is Cyril E. King airport on St. Thomas. From there, you have multiple options to get to St. John. We are more than happy to assist you with the most suitable route.
The usual way:
Take a taxi from the airport to one of the harbors (Redhook or Charlotte Amalie) and catch a ferry straight to Cruz Bay, where you will be welcomed by our estate managers.
Most common guest preference:
Our estate managers will arrange for a trusted, high-end chauffeur service that waits for you at the airport and takes you to the water taxi dock. The boat ride to Cruz Bay takes approximately 15 minutes. Our estate managers will happily welcome you at the dock.
The quickest option:
The quickest, but also the most expensive option, is to take a helicopter airport transfer. It takes 15 minutes for you to go from the airport to St. John. Our estate managers will then welcome you at the helipad.
How many guests can be accommodated?
Hawksnest Villa accommodates a maximum of eight guests. Infants sleeping in a crib are not included in the total occupancy.
Do we need to rent a car?
Renting a car is recommended as taxis will not drive up to the property. Besides, the only way to get the ultimate island experience is to drive around and discover the many beautiful places here.
Allow our estate managers to support you and have a car ready upon your arrival.
Check-In / Check-Out
We do not have set check-in times because we always adapt to the arrival times of our guests’ flights. However, the required check-out time is 12:00pm.
Extra service
Hawksnest Villa offers full concierge service and daily housekeeping at no extra charge. All additional activities and bookings (e.g. massage treatments, in-house catering, boat charter, etc.) are not included, and will be charged separately.
Is the villa/property kid friendly?
We love to see families having a great time together at Hawksnest Villa, but we do not recommend bringing smaller children since our pool area and property are not adequately secured. We do not take responsibility for families who, at their own risk, decide to bring their children.
Minimum stay
We rent out Hawksnest Villa on a weekly basis. If you want to book less than a week, the full weekly rental fee still applies.
We sometimes will offer “specials,” so don’t hesitate to inquire about your desired number of days.
Can I host a party at Hawksnest Villa?
We do not allow celebrations to take place at the villa.
Was Hawksnest Villa affected by the two major hurricanes in 2017?
Except the surrounding landscaping, the villa was thankfully not majorly affected as it was only completed in 2018.
